The Girls and Mathematics Program is designed to provide participants with a variety of mathematical experiences to extend their understanding and knowledge in mathematics. Emphasis will be placed on problem solving. The covered topics are: real and complex numbers, modular arithmetic, introduction to cryptography and elementary plane geometry.

 

The program is for girl students who were enrolled in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th  grade during the previous academic year and who have the recommendation of their mathematics teacher.
