Each exam is worth 100 points. You must bring a photo ID to each exam and you may use a calculator on the exams. Absolutely no cell phone use during an exam is allowed. The final exam, Exam 4, will be comprehensive.

Exam 1: 5:00-7:00 pm, February 11, 2009.
Covers homework sets 00-05 and Chapters 1, 2 and 3.
Exam 2: 5:00-7:00 pm, March 11, 2009.
Covers homework sets 06-13 and Chapters 4, 5, Supplement, and
6 (without concavity).
Exam 3: 5:00-7:00 pm, April 15, 2009.
Covers homework sets 14-20 and Chapters 6 (concavity), 7, 8 and 9.
Exam 4: 6:00-8:00 pm, May 6, 2009.
Comprehensive (covers all homework sets).
After an exam is given, you should go back over the exam and redo
problems you got wrong since this will help you prepare for the final.
Students who have university excused absences or who have
university-scheduled class conflicts with uniform examinations may take
the Alternate Exam. You must fill out the Alternate Exam Request Form and
submit it to your instructor at least two weeks before the scheduled exam.

The Alternate Exams for Exams 1-3 are given on the same days as the
regular exams
(February 11, March 11, April 15) from 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm.
